Boo frickity hoo.
As usual, I’m an evil bastard who has no sympathy for the bleeding hearts of others. But should I? After all, these people want to strip me of my liberty and personal choice; not to mention their inate desire to mollycoddle me (he he)
But damn, if life’s so miserable here, then go back to your smoke free state, Ms. Jody Alcoe.
I won’t repost the whole bit of trash here. You can read it if you feel like punishing yourself… But I will repost my favorite paragraph:
My family moved here several years ago, coming from one the many states that has already banned smoking in workplaces, restaurants and bars. Having experienced the quality of life before and after the introduction of that legislation, we can tell you that it will be a beautiful thing for Wisconsin to eliminate the hazards and discomfort of second-hand smoke. It will make it possible for families to safely go to establishments which currently are polluted by second hand smoke. Moving to this state, which still allows smoking in numerous places, was a giant step backward in quality of life in that regard. We applaud the nonsmoking legislation, which will bring Wisconsin forward to a modern outlook on health and life.
To which I, once again, invite Ms. Alcoe to get the hell out of Wisconsin if she can’t handle the fact that we treat our people like the responsible adults that we are.

She takes her “family” into bars? Shouldn’t she be arrested for child neglect or some other such nanny law?
Heh, I was kind of thinking the same thing. I’m sure she thinks it’s her right to drag her kids to a bar and expect the others to adjust their lives to accommodate her kid though…
